Engineering and Design Plan Phase
In December 2018, the St. Clair Region Conservation Authority (SCRCA) was granted funding from Environment and Climate Change Canada, the Ontario Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks, and Dow Canada to initiate a detailed engineering and design plan for the management of three remaining areas of contaminated sediment in the St. Clair River.
The engineering and design plan outlines the remediation strategy and detailed design for the three areas, provides a summary of the field sampling work that was conducted at the start of the project, and explains how the results provide the basis for the recommended remedial approach. The report was finalized in December 2021 and can be accessed via the links below.
The report appendices can be made available by contacting Mike Moroney, St. Clair River RAP Coordinator at [email protected] or at (519) 245-3710 Ext. 255.
